THE THINGS I CARRY
July 7,8 Nanaimo, Canada
My body is an archive of my experiences, my sensations, my history, my ancestors.
Lee Su-Feh explores these ideas through story-telling, song, movement and our electronic devices. Along the way, she creates a space that is part ceremony, part conference, part confessional.
The Things I Carry is a work that Lee developed while participating in Migrant Bodies, an E.U.-sponsored choreographic project which took place between 2014-15, aimed at opening up a civil and artistic reflection on migrations and their cultural impact for the European and Canadian societies.
