Body Scan

Body-Scan proposes a human body that is porous,  a conduit through which our personal and collective history, memory and desires pass; and explores how touch can transmit and transform this habitus. The work asks if we can inhabit this body, with all its imperfections and injuries, fully and honestly in the presence of the Other without loss of structural, emotional and political integrity.

Co-created by Lee Su-Feh and Benoît Lachambre. In collaboration with photographer Robert Flynt and dancers Tonja Livingstone, Moravia Naranjo, Stephen Thompson, Yannick Matthon. World Premiere March 5-8, 2008 at the Festival Les Antipodes, Brest, France.
