Sweet Gyre is a work built out of the remnants of Lachambre and Lee’s 2008 sextet, Body-Scan. In this duet within a trio, Lachambre and Lee, supported by Juno award-winning musician and composer Jesse Zubot, come together to scan the body: mining the minutiae of our everyday lives, magnifying familiar senses into an ever-shifting field of myth, memory and desire.
